  • Employee Service Award Incentive Plan

    It is appropriate at times to reward an employee who has gone above and beyond the requirements of his or her position. This employee has demonstrated insight, innovation, and the ability to focus on the effective operation of the office and University. The Associate and Assistant Vice Presidents may give these awards each fiscal year. The Vice President for Administration and Finance must approve all awards granted to employees who report directly to the administrator. Awards will be given based upon merit and ability.

  • Third-party Employee Certifications

    Certification is highly valued professional achievement within the division of Administration and Finance. It demonstrates a level of knowledge and expertise within the profession. Certain positions within the division may be required to attain these certifications as a condition of employment. These expectations will be clearly outlined within the job description and communicated to prospective employees. For those positions that do not have this requirement, the attainment of certification allows the employee to enhance his/her professional career. Certification benefits both the employee and the department.

  • Tuition and Fee Waiver Request

    Full-time members of the faculty and staff who enroll in standard OSU credit courses may receive a waiver of half the tuition on these courses and a waiver of specified fees according to OSU Policy and Procedures 2-0108 (for faculty) and 3-0744 (for staff).
