Equipment Information


All credit card equipment must be obtained through Merchant Services in the Office of Financial Information Management (FIM).  Five terminals are currently available:

  • Point-to-Point Encrypted device (WisePad 2)

  • Point-to-Point Encrypted device (ID Tech SREDkey 2)

  • Point-to-Point Encrypted device (PAX A80)

  • Point-to-Point Encrypted device (PAX A920Pro)

The Point-to-Point encrypted devices will be assessed a $15/month device manager fee and a small per transaction fee.

 

Each department is responsible for protecting their credit card terminal against tampering and/or substitution. They must comply with the following:

  1. Maintain a list of devices including Make/Model, Location and Serial Number
  2. Periodically inspect each device to look for tampering/substitution
  3. Report ANY tampering/substitution to Merchant Services immediately
  4. Keep device list up to date at all times 

 

All equipment will be leased by the merchant and must be returned to Merchant Services upon deactivation of merchant account. Merchant Services will provide set-up, training on the use of the terminal and instructions on obtaining transaction reports.  To order a terminal, visit our forms page and download and submit the Credit Card Terminal Request Form to merchantservices@okstate.edu.
